Ketapang leaf @ indian almond leaf
*pic taken in seria Brunei darussalam
for hose who don't know ketapang leaf look like, here is how its tree look like..its all around Brunei.. mostly at the beach of KB and ttg. we use the die leaf not the live one..
Ketapang leaves are used by tropical fish farm breeders and fish hobbyist to create brackish water or k-water extract to promote healing and breeding for tropical fishes, such as Betas, Arowanas, Tetras, Gouramis, Apistos, etc...
Beside creating a natural environment and induces spawning, it also controls or reduces the PH level of water, thus it is also one of the best aquarium water conditioner . They are known to have antibacteria, antifungal, stress relieve and immune boosting properties for all tropical fishes too.

My Tutong Pond
As my previous post..this is my pond.
I left 2 pairs of red dragon HMPK inside without food and care. i just left them with some plants and rain water..and the outcome is tremendous..80+ red dragon HMPK and a pair of lavender to bring back home!(without spending money except fuel to tutong LOL)
This is some of the Red dragon fry
Now the pond is empty bcoz i take all the fish back to KB..now i re condition the water and put some new plants. ive planned to leave a pair of mustard gas halfmoon and see what happened after 2 mths.
Enjoy!
